Our work

SORTING OF COMPOSITE PLASTICS

Many activities can be carried out in plastics recycling, with varying degrees of difficulty.

NPV seeks to advance recycling technologies and processes. We are tackling the « five-legged sheep » in plastic recycling!

Sorting PVC complexes: Defibration of PVC.

The aim is to separate the PVC and the PET fibre (also known as PES) present inside the products and/or on the periphery. The exclusively mechanical process respects the rules of sustainable development and does not generate pollution. It does not consume water. The materials are separated by different complementary techniques.

A key word: quality

The material we produce will be usable without difficulty and will comply with your specifications.

We work in two ways:

  • Customised recycling: the processor entrusts us with his material, we recycle it and then he recovers it.
  • Purchase, recycling and resale to another company.

Our services

Contract recycling

Your products are soft PVC/polyester complexes, ask us to process them.

We will make the most of your waste to provide you with a second life raw material: its characteristics will change very little, if at all!

This new material will be competitively priced compared to new material, and you will have the benefit of significantly reducing your waste and thus your carbon footprint.

We can grind, clean, dust, defibrate and homogenise your materials.

Supply of recycled plastic

Our experience in plastics recycling and our network of partners allow us to offer you recycled materials or to buy back your waste.

Recycling advice

With many years of experience in the plastic recycling industry in a wide range of areas, we are able to provide solutions for the recycling of your waste.

Sustainable Development

In order to face the great ecological challenge, NPV contributes and is involved in sustainable development through its activities.

We only work with materials that comply with the REACH directive. We are in an eco-responsible approach.

With the advice provided to our customers, we can participate in the eco-design of their products. A product that is well thought out at the outset makes recycling easier and therefore less energy consuming!

PVC is a material that can be recycled very well. Integrating recycled material into new products in a mixture with virgin compound is commonly used.

Some products can even be made from recycled material only! Not only do we make the most of your waste, but it also reduces the need to manufacture new material and thus reduces carbon emissions.

Incinerating plastic waste is an aberration for us! We must do our best to avoid this end and use these already refined products!

Our manufacturing processes are energy efficient. Everything is done to reduce our environmental impact.

We are therefore working for the planet at our level and trying to have a virtuous attitude!

NPV only offers materials that comply with the REACH directive

About PVC

PVC consists of 57% salt and 43% petroleum derivatives (ethylene). It is thus the only plastic material in the commodities sector to be derived mainly from non-fossil energy! Most of it is therefore a mineral whose source is inexhaustible.

PVC resin is derived from the polymerisation of vinyl chloride. It is a white powder.

This powder, which can be compared to flour, serves as a base. Additives such as stabilisers, lubricants, etc. are added to it to make a compound (the equivalent of a paste from flour). Compounders develop their formulas (recipes) to produce the required products.

Thus, it is possible to manufacture rigid products (window profiles, pipes, fittings, label holders, credit cards, etc.), flexible products (pipes, floor coverings, leather goods, films, cables, hospital equipment such as blood and infusion bags, transfusion tubes, gloves, bed sheets, etc.) and even expanded products (rigid and flexible) of all colours with very different characteristics.

PVC is therefore one of the most common plastics in our daily lives.

However, it represents only 0.6% of the world’s oil consumption (compared to 4% for all plastics).

The advantage of PVC is that it is a material that can be recycled very well (100%) and has been for many years.

Louis SUGANAS started recycling PVC in 1957 with polyethylene and polystyrene.
